COLOMBIA RESCUES INGRID BETANCOURT AND U.S. HOSTAGES FROM THE HANDS OF THE FARC.

****AND ELEVEN OTHER HOSTAGES PLUS CAPTURING ANOTHER TOP FARC
LEADER.

About one hour ago the Minister of Defense of Colombia announced the rescue of 15 hostages who had been for several years in the hands of the narcoterrorist organization FARC. This operation, executed brilliantly by the Colombian army, is one more blow against the Colombian terrorists, after the deaths of Marulanda and Raul Reyes, the top two leaders of the organization. The time for Colombian peace is nearer, thanks to the perseverance of the Colombian government and in spite of the efforts of FARC and its allies in Latin America, including Venezuelan and Ecuadorian Presidents Hugo Chavez and Rafael Correa.
