Bullshit is a two way street, Mr. White.

He showers with the hat on....

My comments on "The Return of Mel Zelaya"
by Ambassador Robert E. White, CIP President

The president of the Center For International Policy, Ambassador Robert White, just came out with this beauty (you can read it at http://www.ciponline.org/BobWhite_commentary_Honduras.html . Frankly, I think the piece is a lot of bullshit. My comments or my own bullshit (President White does not have the exclusive right to it) follow each sentence by Mr. White:

White's bullshit: "With the calculated daring of a master poker player, Mel Zelaya has called the bluff of the coup makers, and they have no alternative but to fold".

My comment: As of this minute former president and Chavez parasite, Manuél Zelaya, with the help of Lula, Insulza and Chavez, seems to have painted himself in a corner, at the Brazilian Embassy in Tegucigalpa. There is an order of imprisonment against him for corruption. O corre o se encarama (either he runs or he mounts, as they say in Venezuela)...

White's bullshit: The de facto president, Rob Micheletti, must now either accept Zelaya’s return to the presidency, under the conditions outlined in the plan negotiated by President Oscar Arias of Costa Rica, or take a long vacation in Miami, where so many of the rich Hondurans who financed the coup maintain their seaside mansions.

My comment: As of this minute Rob (??) Micheletti is not accepting Zelaya's return to the presidency, much less the conditions stipulated by Oscar Arias and Joe Insulza. He is not planning to take vacations in Miami but is, rather, asking Zelaya what he did with the money he took out of the Honduras Central Bank.

White's bullshit: Like all Latin Americans, Hondurans love and admire courage, valor and the bold, clean stroke. For the first time in the country’s history, the common people have a champion and the economic and military elites have suffered a crushing setback. Not a defeat, but a stunning reversal of fortune that will slowly but inexorably reorder the politics of Honduras.

My comment: The Hondureños who stood against the cowards of OAS and the ALBA bandits are the ones who have shown courage. So far Zelaya has been hiding under his hat and under the calzones of Chavez or Insulza or now Lula. Zelaya a champion of the common people? Give me a break, White! Cuéntame una de vaqueros... tell me a story about cowboys instead....

White's bullshit: ..........It will now be up to the Honduran people to demand a constituent assembly, and perhaps rewrite the constitution to permit reelection of a first-term president. This will go a long way towards establishing a democracy where political power has a fighting chance against the concentration of economic power that for too long has dominated Honduras.

My comment: You mean a Constituent Assembly like the one Chavez, Morales and Correa put in place? designed to destroy democracy and build a "socialist"paradise like Cuba's? ...Some people never learn! Or don't want to... A Constituent assembly, as planned by these despots, is just a prelude to the death of democracy, the complete opposite to what Ambassador White states.

I would love to debate with Ambassador White!
